Roadshow 2023
Together Siyazi Thula and other Taxi Industry business partners joined SANTACO KZN on October Transport Month road show. The roadshow was planned and organised by SANTACO KZN joinly with other business partners.
There were four regions visited this year, as listed bellow;
October Transport Month 2023 Roadshow
The motive behind the October Transport Month 2023 roadshow was to promote road safety, customer care, healthy living, and a healthy lifestyle. During the event, the SANTACO KZN Chairperson, Mr. Boy Zondi, addressed the attendees, saying, “I greet you all. Thank you for joining us today. As I mentioned before, I wish that the drivers come closer because today we will be talking to them and the taxi owners. The purpose of today’s gathering is to promote the transport month in South Africa, which the minister of transport had launched. The slogan says “WE ARE BUILDING,” and we say to the taxi industry, let’s continue to build this industry to be better than before.”
He also pleaded with the drivers to take care of the commuters and protect them from any form of harm. He emphasized that the drivers must catch criminals if they are found in the taxi ranks. Mr. Zondi concluded by asking taxi owners to maintain peaceful operations between taxi associations and taxi owners.
Together, SIYAZI and the various role players in the projects can make a difference in delivering effective solutions to meet the needs of people from grassroots level all the way up to executive management.
