Mr. Sias Oosthuizen
As a public transport planning specialist with over 40 years experience, Oosthuizen has been instrumental in a number of key projects including the development of the first Taxi Liaison Committee in East Rand, development of guidelines for the first Current Public Transport Record surveys conducted in Gauteng and managing transport provision for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
He is an ECSA registered professional engineer and a member of SAICE. Oosthuizen has published and presented 25 papers at local and international conferences.

Mr. Leon Roets
With over 25 years transport planning and traffic engineering experience, Roets continues to make positive social contributions with every project he works on. This includes stimulating job creation and skills transfer in the community surrounding each project. He has extensive experience working with both private and public sector clients. His knowledge and expertise are centred on transportation planning and modelling.
He is an ECSA registered professional engineer and has published and presented numerous papers at local and international conferences.

Herman Mafafo
Herman Mafafo has a record of completed projects that is a clear indication that he is fully committed to sustainable development, and believes strongly in the following principles:
He has 23 years of work experience in the Consulting Industry for clients mainly dealing with the development of Public Transport Plans, Integrated Transport Plans Operating License Strategy and GIS & CPTR data analysis.
His responsibilities include the provision of technical support in the development of Data Surveys, Operational Strategies, Transport Master Planning and project management.

Kgomotso Tudi
Kgomotso Peter Tudi is a Public Transport Planner with a degree in BCom Transport Economics and further studying towards my postgraduate degree in BCom Transport Economics known for his success in the development of liaison between the authorities and the taxi industry. I have an effective way of working with the industry at all levels, particularly at grassroots level. I understand taxi operations at all levels. I am involved in the improvement of the accuracy of taxi related modelling, for example in conjunction with specialized computer specialized packages used for modelling purposes. The results and applications of the ITP process could be a great value and would probably outperform any other similar combination.

Ronell Lock
Ronell Lock started at Siyazi shortly after its founding and has been with the company throughout its 25 years. She plays a key role in managing communication between the Provincial branches of Siyazi and respective stakeholders and affiliates.
Since 2007 she has occupied the role of National Office Manager and mentoring office managers in other provinces.

Gustav Grobler
Gustav Grobler has a total of 13 years’ experience in transport, public transport and traffic engineering planning and implementation.
He completed National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2019 at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He is based in Polokwane and is accustomed to the work procedures of Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL), SANRAL, respective District and Local municipalities and with the Taxi Industries.

Paul van der Westhuizen
With 15 years’ traffic engineering experience continuously providing clients with professional, goal, and solution-driven services in the traffic engineering field, taking into consideration clients’ needs and cost sensitivities for a vast range of industries, which include: commercial, retail, residential, mining, renewable energy, filling stations, environmental practitioners, and developers.
His experience as a project manager includes Traffic Impact Assessments, Site Traffic Assessments, Road Safety Assessments, data gathering (vehicle traffic and pedestrian counts), access applications, traffic light signal design, traffic light signal warranting, parking layout design, basic geometric design input and transport route assessments (mining developments) within most provinces of South Africa, and with experience and knowledge in Botswana, Namibia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
